How to remove your phone number from Facebook, Twitter and Instagram

Delete your phone number from Instagram

To unlink your phone number from Instagram, you must open the app and open your profile by clicking on the icon in the lower right corner.

A screen will open where you can edit your personal data: from anging your profile picture, to your username or adding a website. If you scroll down, you will find a section titled 'Private information', where your email, your phone number and gender are.

Click on your phone number,delete it and click 'next' to unlink it from the Instagram account. You only have to confirm the action in the upper right corner of the screen so that it becomes effective.

Delete your phone number from Twitter

To remove your phone number from the Twitter account, you must open the app and click on your profile image in the upper left corner or by sliding your finger from the left side of the screen to the center.

Click on 'Settings and privacy' and oose 'Account', at whi point a screen will open with information su as your username, phone number or email.

Click on 'Phone'. When you do, you will see a window with three options: 'Update phone number', 'Delete phone number' or 'Cancel'. Click on 'Delete phone number' and then, when it asks you again if you are sure you want to do it, on 'Yes, delete'.
